Acton Vale Community Association (AVCA) promotes the benefit of the inhabitants of Acton Vale (the estate of the same name and surrounding area) by leading a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare or recreation. In particular, AVCA manages and develops the local community centre as a community hub in furtherance of these objects.

Acumen Community Buildings provides office accommodation, co-working space and support for social enterprises, community businesses, community groups and individuals who are creating social impact in the local community. It is runs a grade II* listed building, The Old Rectory, as a hub for place based social action in Houghton-le-Spring and the surrounding coalfields area of Sunderland.

Adara Development is an international development organisation focussed on improving health and education for women, children and their communities living in poverty. We are experts in maternal, newborn and child health; remote and rural community development. We have delivered services in Uganda and Nepal since 1998. We are also registered as a charity in Australia, the US and Bermuda.

Adavu works to respond to the issues of modern slavery across the West Midlands through long term support to adult survivors of modern slavery making the transition into a life in the local community; advocating justice; building partnerships and raising awareness.

Promoting education in and the appreciation of the art and science of music in and around the village of Adderbury by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Provision of facilities for local community activities.

ADDERLEY VILLAGE HALL PROVIDES A COMMUNITY FACILITY FOR ADDERELY VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREA. A NUMBER OF GROUPS MEET REGULARLY, USUALLY WEEKLY, AND THE HALL IS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE ON A ONE OFF BASIS. A LICENSED BAR IS OPEN 3-5 EVENINGS A WEEK.A NUMBER OF EVENTS ARE ORGANISED BY THE TRUSTEES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE HALL.

The Society initiates and supports Village projects relating to Heritage, Environment and Community. It also comments on planning issues, publishes books of local interest, holds 11 meetings each year for education or entertainment & publishes monthly newsletters. It awards grants for projects that will benefit the Village and presents Civic Pride Awards each year to individuals and groups.

THESE SERVICES INCLUDE SHOPPING BUSES, LUNCH CLUBS, EXTEND EXERCISE CLASSES, SOCIAL EVENTS, TRANSPORT TO HEALTH APPOINTMENTS, CLINICS AND HOSPITALS, BEFRIENDING AND NON TECHNICALADVICE SERVICES. SMALL DOMESTIC ODD JOBS ALSO UNDERTAKEN BY VOLUNTEERS. WE DO NOT MAKE FINANCIAL GRANTS

Adelaide Bridge Institute aims to provide a meeting / recreational place for the general public / mankind of Queen Adelaide Village and surrounding area by the provision of a well maintained and safe Village Hall.

Adelante Africa UK raises funds for and collaborates with Adelante Africa Uganda, which works alongside local people in Igayaza, Kibaale District - a remote rural area in Western Uganda - to support vulnerable children. We have educational, healthcare and community development projects and run a home for abandoned children.

To promote the benefit and social welfare of the residents of Adeyfield without discrimination.To provide facilities for recreation, leisure, and self improvement activities with the aim of improving life experience for such residents.
