The objects of the club is to provide relief for the disabled within Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, with particular reference to therapeutic benefit derived from swimming and related exercise. The DSC provides swimming/exercise sessions every Saturday throughout the year, except for the weeks covering the Christmas and New Year period. We have the exclusive use of the pool.

Arbour Vale School is a special needs school providing for 330 students with special educational needs. The Association provides an enhanced educational / recreational experience for the students and local community by fundraising, providing advocates, advice and activities for special needs youngsters and their families from the surrounding community.

A charitable organisation that offers consultancy to young adults from under-resourced communities to advance social mobility through varied programmes focused on CV Writing, Interview preparation, growth mindset, self-awareness training, hybrid working principles & 1:1 mentoring. The aim and focus will be empowering and engaging individuals, resulting in positive, sustainable change.

We work to create equality of opportunity in arts and culture for disabled people in the North East of England. We do this by supporting and promoting the work of disabled artists, by enabling and facilitating disabled people to access all aspects of the arts, by assisting cultural venues to become inclusive and by presenting a programme of arts and cultural activity.

To provide spiritual & practical support to people with disabilities in the Roman Catholic deanery parishes of Oxfordshire and in the neighbouring Dioceses.

Area 51 Education

Area 51 Education provides full and part time continuing education opportunities to young people over the age of 16 who have severe, profound or complex learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

Help with older people as needed those with disabilities, help with people of all ages that are in poverty need, providing counselling for welfare rights etc. Helping with moving accomodation hiring the transport meeting the need of material things they may need.

To support and relieve the needs of those aged 21 - 65 with a learning disability and/or associated mental health condition residing in Kidderminster and the surrounding areas primarily through(1) Providing life and practical skills programmes;(2) Conservation/environmental and horticultural workshops and projects;(3) Opportunities to interact with animals in a calm and safe environment

THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, HOUSING, TRAINING, HEALTHCARE PROJECTS, AND ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT.To provide supported living accommodation to people with disabilities, ill health, or disadvantage to help them live independently in the community.

The trustees have allocated all available funds for each of these heads Religion, Parenting, Homeless, Third World, the Arts and disabled and will not consider unsolicited applications. They continue to review those charities who are currently in receipt of funds.It does not generally assist cancer related charities and medical charities generally, or those connected with HIV/AIDS and animals

The charities objectives are to provide transport facilities in Merseyside for persons who have special need of such facilities because they are vulnerable children and adults with mental and/or physical disabilities.

We provide a rescue for domestic animals & wildlife. We have done more direct rehoming due to covid restrictions.Groups of all ages are welcome and the centre caters for the disabled.We provide animal and environment education for all age groups with customised training.

Ark Ripon is a social club for adults with learning &/ or physical disabilities. We meet at Ripon Bowling Club, Bondgate Green on 3 Tuesday evenings per month (apart from school holidays). Activities include socializing, music, arts, quizzes, games, bingo & crafts. We were formerly known as Ripon Gateway Club (from Sept 1968 to February 2007) and then Avalon Ripon Klub (ARK) until July 2016.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Provides mobility services (eg mobility scooters, walking sticks, etc) to local people with a disability, on a temporary basis.

Based in Bristol, the CIO aims to advance education in the arts among adults with a learning disability through the provision of workshops, activities and events designed to support and empower them to explore their artistic potential, We create opportunities for them to share there work with the public through exhibitions and events.

Art Shape works with individuals, communities and organisations to combat exclusion from the arts, with particular focus on working with adults facing disabling barriers such as physical disability, learning difficulties, mental health service users and survivors and those experiencing the difficulties associated with ageing.

Artbox London works with People with Learning Disabilities and Autism (PwLDA) in Islington and the surrounding boroughs. We provide a varied programme of activities that provide opportunities for PwLDA to meet socially and explore art. Our main activities are workshops, open-access studio sessions, exhibitions and trips to art galleries and museums.
