To provide parent carers and advocates with support to help navigate the world of disabilities.

To assist the families of children with learning and physical disabilities through the provision of advice and support services and the provision of advocates to enable such children to access appropriate educational provision and other services they may need.

To promote and provide education, recreation and leisure time activities for disabled persons in particular by providing opportunities in aviation with the object of improving the conditions of life.

Affinity Trust

Affinity Trust supports people with learning disabilities. The main model of support is Supported Living but Day Opportunities and a small number of Residential places are also provided.Affinity Trust supports people with a wide range of support needs and has considerable experience of supporting people with complex support needs such as challenging behaviour.

Main activities are Healthcare, Business start ups and meeting basic needs. Within our first accounting period we have held eye/medical camps in association with Kenyan professionals and dispensed spectacles and eye drops. We have started a Sewing School and a computer school to offer basic instruction. With basic needs we have helped fund a toilet block, given out seed and supported a blind group

African Caribbean Community Initiative (a.c.c.i.)

ACCI provides a daily resource centre and Assertively managed (dual diagnosis), Intensive Supported (acutely vulnerable women) supported accommodation, assertive outreach, housing, counselling & therapy service to African Caribbean people (but not exclusively) who have mental ill health, including those who also have learning and less severe physical disabilities. Largest Carers Group regionally.

Friday lunch club for over sixties in Bentham area. Minibus with disabled access to and from the lunch club and regular outings.

The Pop-in Centre provides social contact and refreshments in comfortable, friendly surroundings for six mornings a week for any person over 50. The Mini-bus serves folk with mobility problems or who are restricted for lack of public transport, taking them to larger towns and places of interest. We offer a door to door service, from the locality and surrounding villages.

To provide transport for the elderly and disabled in Fakenham and surrounding villages.shopping, doctors, clinics, outings, this is a door to door service. With a helper on each bus to assist with heavy shopping and walking aids.Our 2 buses are out everyday, we have regular routes out to villages into Supermarkets and all have a chance to go on outings, theatres etc.

ACH operates in the TN21 area, and assists the elderly and disabled. We operate a minibus service for trips and outings.We also operate medical car service whereby volunteers use their own cars to transport people to any medically related appointment. We have a Men's shed for socialisation and making of wooded items.

WE PROVIDE A WEEKLY LUNCHEON CLUB. SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY. DOORWAY TO ORGANISATIONS PROVIDING INFORMATION TO FINANCIAL SUPPORT. ASSISTANCE WITH FORM FILLING.WE ARE ALSO THE FIRST PLACE OF CONTACT IF ANYONE HAS DIFFICULTIES NEEDING TO BE ADDRESSED. DELIVERING MEALS TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE COME OUT OF HOSPITAL AND MOBILITY PROBLEMS.

We offer help and advice to the elderly and disabled of Syston and District. We run a disabled minibus and offer a variety of outings throughout the year. We have a weekly coffee morning. The minibus is also hired to various other voluntary organisations within Syston and District.

Provision of services to disabled and disadvantaged clients that is geared towards helping them into supported employment, open employment or vocational training.

1) To relief sickness and to preserve health of patients in any part of the world but especially Sierra Leone by providing or assisting in the provision of walk-in centres and mobile clinics to facilitate diagnostic services, medical treatment, and speciality referrals2) To advance and promote education of the general public in all areas.

Charity events and collections

Aid for People Foundation (APF) is a developed charity. It supports the children, young and old people with any special needs in particular people with Dementia in the England and Wales.

We provide riding lessons and community for people with a range of disabilities.

Running and maintaining a school for severely disabled children and an integrated nursery.
