Childcare Provision
We offer breakfast club, after school club, extra pick ups and holiday schemes for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old. Children come from four local schools Stillness Infant, Stillness Junior, Dalmain and William of York.We currently have capacity for 50 places per day.
Acorn remains engaged in, and committed to being a transformative agent in today's multifaceted society. Our events are focused on training individuals and groups in ministry and skills for the journey of Christian healing.

ACORN COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION NEWTON AYCLIFFE is a community based charity which organises events and excursions for the benefit of the residents of Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas. Many of our residents are of low income, unemployed, elderly or infirm. We seek to improve lives by providing experiences which otherwise would be unaffordable for many.
The Charity's aim is to provide Day opportunities and supported living for people who have a learning disabilities and other complex health needs in the North Yorkshire area

The Acorn is a volunteer-run community theatre for Worksop and district which enriches and entertains our community by offering facilities for performers across the age and ability spectrum. We inspire children and adults to make theatre an active part of their lives, by encouraging lifelong learning and participation in the theatre.

We offer Early Years Education for children aged from 2 to 5. We also offer wrap around care for children attending our pre-school as well as the local lower and middle schools. We are Ofsted registered and operate within the town of Shefford.
To provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age, working in partnership with parents to help them learn and develop. To add to the life and well-being of our local community and offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
Crisis pregnancy and pregnancy loss counselling service. Our charity also works in local secondary schools on their PSHE education.

The Charity was formed to promote and provide a 12 Step and non 12 step Abstinence Programme for those who have suffered from addiction problems relating to alcohol and/or drug misuse. The Charity provides various stages of treatment, ie Reduction & Motivation Programme (RAMP) , Day Care, residential, reintegration programmes, Family Programmes, back to work & Post Treatment Recovery Support

Acorn Under Fives is a preschool and caters for children from the age of two until school age.
Wide range on animals to stroke and feed, animal petting pavilion, shop-selling home produce free range meat,eggs,ice cream, Cafe, plant sales, woodland walk, play area, horse rides/RDA, birthday party room hire, day care service for people with special needs, special events throughout the year i.e halloween night, xmas grotto.
To advance the education of adults with a learning disability and associated problems, to provide and support a village community and permanent homes for the beneficiaries where they may lead independent, yet supported lives to the maximum capability of each individual.
Acorn Youth and Social Club, the operating name of the charity, aims to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation for people, resident in or near Hillingdon, with learning disabilities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
Our aim is to provide a safe,stimulating and happy environment for 21/2 to 5year olds.
Acorns is a voluntary organisation made up of parents and teachers of Purple Oaks Academy, a SEN school for children on the autism spectrum.Acorns raises funds to benefit the school and pupils.
