The Scout Group provides a balanced programme of activities which offer a wide range of age related opportunities for children between the ages of 6 and 14yrs. We are a co-educational group who accept children from a diverse range of social, economic and cultural backgrounds. The Groups primary objective remains: to provide affordable activities to all young people in the area.
1st Lostock Gralam Scout Group runs under the Scout Association in accordance with its Policy, Organisation and Rules. It has a membership of around 70-80 members within Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

Put on a wide, varied, active and inclusive programme incorporating elements of both modern and traditional Scouting.
Ludlow Scout Group has over 80 young people aged between 6 and 18. Some of the activities that the young people experience including camping, canoeing, map reading, survival techniques, the development of teamwork, and cooking over an open fire.

1st Magor Scouts exist to develop the skills and abilities of young people in the Magor area of South Monmouthshire. The scout troop provides practical training and activities to develop the mental and physical capacity of the young people. Activities under taken in the last year have included climbing, camping, sailing, swimming and cooking.
The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. As a Sea Scout group we follow the national programme for each training section, but with an emphasis on water-based activities.
