The Guide Hall is owned by GGHQ but the upkeep of the hall falls to the Guide Leaders.The hall is used for Guiding and by local groups.
Scout Group
1st Mulbarton Scout group comprising Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. Meetings for each group each week where variable activities are carried out including crafts, cooking, camping basics, first aid etc.Group camps and individual camps and days out.
Instruction of children of all ages in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship
Structured, progressive activities building team and leadership qualities in young people.
The Group's main activity is Scouting for both males and females from the age of 6 to the age of 14
The charity provides resources to enable the effective running of 1st Nanpantan Scout Group at its headquarters in Nanpantan. The age range covered is from 6 to 14 years and the members follow the training of The Scout Association.
The 1st Nazeing Scout Group, which can be traced back to before the 2nd World War, joined together with Nazeing Girl Guiding sections during the 1970+?+?+?s to form the 1st Nazeing Scout and Guide Group. The Group is affiliated to both The Scout Association and Girl Guide Association.The groups have activities in the hut and field trips including camps visits to other groups
